Been a long while and a lot.
Hi.
It's been quite long. I was focused on my other blog, the one that allows me to host dynamic websites. It's this one right here. I am currently using it for my guestbook for this blog. I have no clear plans for it. Yet.
Let's see. What did I do today?
I finally finished this term's last assignment. I also ordered my cap and gown for my graduation. I'm quite excited, but I'm only able to do the virtual one since I cannot afford tickets to go to my actual college. But! I get an honor cord :) My GPA is 3.95 at this moment. So there's that. That's something I suppose.
I worked on my book today. I combined chapters and edited and added some words to make it above the minimum of 1.5k for my book. I'm with a publisher, and they help writers with original works get out there. I think, if I'm not mistaken. I mean money is involved, too. Like they host your works, and you split on whatever chapters the readers buy. I have a lot of insecurities about this book, but I hope I get readers that buy the paywalled chapters. I started updating regularly again. I hope it finds the right audience.
Ah, speaking of, I was complaining about being in contract to my senpai, and my senpai somewhat scolded me saying, "This should be a lesson for you not to engage in anything that you are not committed to." But I was committed to this. But I am hoping my initial interest for this book comes back because I truly wanted to finish this book. Since I have to merge chapters to make it on or more the 1.5k words requirement, I read my book too. It's really simple, and I don't write the physical appearance descriptions. I tend to focus more on what they're doing or feeling or saying. I tend to throw the physical appearance out the window. I like my book. I hope others will, because that's the point of the contract. To make money. So I hope someone likes it enough to buy the chapters.
I was able to merge 9 chapters. It's ready to be posted, and I have my auto-publishing schedule on. So let's see. I really hope someone buys chapters of this book. I would really like to see some semblance of success on my writing.
What else, hm?
I played the violin today, and I feel as though I am finally harmonizing with my violin. See,I was with a smaller-sized violin for my body, but I made it work. However, I got used to a size that isn't for me. Then I hiatused. In 2018, I think, I bought a violin, but it was too loud, and the bridge kept falling off. I got tired, and bought me an electric violin. The bridge was glued and it's much quiet, too. I like it. I only got to know it better recently. Today's practice session was really good. I was able to produce something that sounds nice. I played the first 10secs or so of Howl's Moving Castle's Merry Go Round and Hallelujah (not the religious one, but the pop song one). It was really nice and peaceful. I was able to finally harmonize with it.
I did a bit of cross-stitch, too!
So, yea, today was a really good day.
Ah, also, I am not sure about keeping a blog where everyone can read it. I mean, at the same time I am updating this blog, I am keeping a personal blog for my own reading. But sometimes, hm, I just wonder if this is all worth it. Hm... Ah, well, I am also trying out Joomla in my other blog. I saw the CMS and would like to try that. Also, man, I really do have a lot of hobbies, huh.
